Interesting Pictures

Evan invited me to go to his field trip to the Myrtles plantation in St. Francisville. I'd been there before, and years ago, I'd met the owner, John Moss. John had lots of interesting stories about his experiences there and I'd always been intrigued about the place. During the tour we were told that many times guests who take the tour find interesting images in the pictures that they take there. When we came home we began to closely analyze some of the pictures that we took. To put the pictures into perspective, here is the story we were told. The Myrtles was built upon a former Indian burial ground. Years later a family moved in. The family had two small children, and a slave named Chloe. Chloe was prone to eavesdropping and as a result, as punishment, her ear was cut off. In retaliation, Chloe poisoned the children and was later killed. The ghosts of Chloe and the children are often seen and heard around the plantation. Another story is that another ghost, a man, greets visitors at times and tells them to leave. The first image here is of the back yard of the Myrtles.
